im into 2 tires..but no engines..

since im back from Australia..i has this new interest and a hobby to be,,i think.

i saw lots of people cycling. (escpecially when im in Melbourne),,bicycle lanes are everywhere!.road bike, mountain bike, fixie and all kind of bikes sharing the road and i think its quiet awesome.

and to influence it indirectly,is my buddy Pe'nas, who is into cycling too. in fact, everyone in his house has a bike (at least). *one of his mate has 2 bikes and the expensive one, he put it in the dining room..and another his mate has a key lock just to secure his bike's SADDLE!!..

im into road biking maybe because the geometry of the bike and the thin tires. and i see lots of road cycling too. living in Putrajaya also is a factor. with wide roads, beautiful place to be, scenic view, many Road Riders came here to ride. seeing them cycling around Putrajaya, really makes me jealous.

so after searching and searching around the web, i found my bike..quiet bias coz im a fans of Lance Armstrong and Anuar Manan (Malaysian Road Cyclist)..i dont know what brand do Anuar Manan use, but surely for Armstrong,he uses Trek!.

so theres a couple of Trek Road Bike ive looked (that suites my budget and reminding that im just a beginner)..searching and comparing about the specs etc and i came out with two types of bikes, the Trek 1.2C and Trek 1.5C.

Trek 1.2 C (RM 32xx)

Trek 1.5C (RM36xx)

I found a couple of Trek Dealers in Malaysia and in Indonesia too (as im thinking about to continue my new hobby back in Indonesia) from the Trek Official Website. I eventually went to 2 of the bike shops and i test my 1st bike, the 1.5C and its feel awesome!. suite for me with the 50cm bike..

i also rang couples of other stores and get more and more cheaper prices (different stores, different price. so better u guys survey on the price first)..and i rang one of this Trek dealer in Pahang asking bout the bike etc..

right before i wanna say thank you and hung up,he said, "oh adik, ada satu basikal 2nd hand. orng tu baru tak pakai lama sgt..model baru jugak..Trek 2.5C.."...and i was about,,owh ok.sure mahal nyer.

n i asked about the price "brape hargenye bang?"...he replied "RM3500,complete bike except for pedals. with new Aliante Saddles"...and i was like,,oh damnn..teaser betoll..

i paid the same price with the new one for 1.5C but i get a higher spec from Trek 2C..but yeah, its a second hand..but its worth it when u are a begginer lah kan..

2011 Trek 2.5C cost around RM 8+++
2010 Trek 2.5C

the next day,i contact him again n ask if he can email me the pics..

the one!!

The two!!

so i suspecting its a 2010 model..as the 2011 didnt hv the Chi Red colour..but what the fuss right?.looking at the pics, its all ok..nampak cool..and i did asked the brother why he sell his bike, because he upgrade to Trek Madone 5.2!..bukan sbb rosak ke apa.

right now, i hv to really really think about having it or not..money not an issue i think..i got money somewhere.hahahaha,

but what killing me is that

1) i only has 2 weeks left in Malaysia, then I dont know when i will be back again. so buying this bike and not riding it for i dont know how long, making a museum out of it, will be such a waste

2) if i bring this bike to Indonesia, will it suites there?. coz the road in Makassar, for heavens sake, berlubang sana, berlubang sini, NOOO LOOONGG FLAT SURFACES..for sure will damages my bike

So, what to do?.ermmm,,

2) The Giant Drop - The closeset thing to sky diving!
3) The Cyclone - Wind chasers, fly with the wind!
4) Tower of Terror 2 - Think White-Knuckle, Face-Lifting, Breath-Taking Speed...
5) The Claw - Looking for a stomach losing, sky high-swing, packed with adrenalin, and a big dose of fear?
6) Wipeout - Survive the mother of all tidal waves!

so, here i copy paste fun facts about these 6 rides ;)

1) Motocoaster

The first Aussie motorbike rollercoaster

Experience the rush of motorcycle racing! Get behind the handlebars of Dreamworld’s hot new thrill ride! Racing now at Dreamworld! The only motocoaster in the world featuring life-size replicas of 500cc racing bikes, the Mick Doohan Motocoaster comprises 14 custom-made motorbikes and two aero-dynamically profiled sidecars designed for small children and disabled guests. The motorbikes are mounted on a single carriage.

Motocoaster features a fluid track with changes in elevation and high speed corners, reaching just over 72 km per hour. The riders are held in by a unique restraint system in life-size replicas of 500cc racing bikes. So hold on and experience the next best thing to Moto GP Racing!

MickDoohan's Honda CBR 1000RR

2) The Giant Drop

Sky Fanatics!

Take some spare underwear - this is the tallest, free-falling ride in the world, according to the Guinness Book of World records. The Giant Drop, was officially declared the ‘tallest, vertical free-fall ride in the world’ by the Guiness Book of World Records in their 1999 edition. Standing 119metres high (39 storeys), The Giant Drop is now a legendary Australian landmark. It opened at Dreamworld in 1998 and has carried more than five million passengers to date.

The closest thing you will get to actual skydiving - don’t be fooled by the amazing scenery as you are winched slowly to the top. The top floor is the sky and the only way down is a jaw dropping 120 metre plummet at extreme speed, a rush like no other. During the ride, passengers experience the excitement and exhilaration of falling 39 storeys - accelerating at the speed of gravity (up to 135 km per hour), with their legs hanging freely.

3) The Cyclone

Wind chasers, fly with the wind!

The Cyclone, is one of the tallest, high-speed gravity rollercoaster's in the Southern Hemisphere. Travel 13 storeys, experience 1000 tonnes of high-speed, heart thumping, hair raising twists, as you somersault into a 360-degree loop and screaming sidewinder. Be prepared to be blown away!

If you think you can weather a teeth chattering storm, then be prepared to get blown away by Dreamworld’s Cyclone, the tallest high-speed gravity rollercoaster in the Southern Hemisphere. The Cyclone starts out leisurely, gently hoisting riders 40 meters above the ground to the most scenic point in the theme park. To the right is the hypnotic swing of The Claw. To the left is the sparkling blue waterpark. Ahead is the centre of fury and the point of no return.

Within seconds, thrill seekers are plunged down a deathly descent hitting speeds of up to 85 kilometres per hour, whipped through hair-raising loops and hurled into a screaming sidewinder. Dreamworld’s Cylcone rollercoaster first opened at Sydney’s Luna Park. Following complaints by neighbours of the ear-piercing screams, it took 35 separate trucks to relocate the knee-knocking coaster to Dreamworld, where it was reinvented as The Cyclone.

4) Tower of Terror 2

After almost 14 years of thrills and more than 8 million panicked passengers, one of Australia’s most iconic scream machines, Dreamworld’s Tower of Terror, will relaunch, this time reloaded and…reversed! Unlike the original, adrenalin junkies will be harnessed into the deepest depths of the Tower’s lair, facing nothing but a dark void.

An eerie silence lasts for just milliseconds before the car blasts backwards rocketing guests out of a 206m tunnel at rapid speed hitting up to 161 km/h in seven seconds flat. Riders soar 100m into the atmosphere dangling for several seconds of stomach-churning weightlessness at its peak before plummeting back to earth…only this time it’s face first. Hold on tight and brace for collision because the ultra narrow tunnel appears impossibly small for re-entry.

5) The Claw

Looking for a tummy losing, sky high-swing, packed with adrenalin, and a big dose of fear?

2nd time ride with syafiq (joghos)

Well consider travelling 9 storeys into the air, swinging at up to 75 km/hr! Scared? Wait! It also spins 360 degrees. Dare yourself. The first of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, The Claw is the most powerful pendulum on the planet is now the most terrifying talon in the world.

Themed to look like the prehistoric paw of a 3D rampaging velociraptor, The Claw propels adrenalin junkies nine storeys high, mercilessly swinging them back and forth at 64km per hour while twisting 360 degree full circles. Guests who dare to dice with the ten to two o’clock swing experience insane gravity hang time as they perch perilously close to the edge. But once they’re harnessed, there’s no escape as the floor retracts and they’re in the clutches of The Claw.

Hold on tight. Dreamworld’s fingernail-biting, spine-tingling, knee-knocking nightmare, The Claw, is the only one of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.

6) Wipeout

Survive the mother of all tidal waves!

Get ready to ride the wildest wave in Australia on Dreamworld’s biggest scream machine, The Wipeout. Transported to an island of sand, palms, shipwrecks and sharks, the scene is set for the turbulent ride ahead. The Wipeout spins, twists and tumbles you through a body-wrenching range of dumping breaker waves leaving you helpless - strapped in the middle with no lifeline.

Flip, spin, twist and tumble on a massive 40 seat gondola engineered to shake guests to the very core. Built in a tranquil setting framed by a white sandy beach and quaint old-fashioned changing rooms, the serenity is soon smashed when the harness comes down and the motors crank up. Hold your breath for there’s no escape as The Wipeout’s two independent rotating arms lash out and put guests through a pounding set of erratic twists and turns.

Just when you think the tide is beginning to ebb, a second swell hits; slowly sucking riders into the depths of the ocean in a reverse direction and leaving them hovering upside down before dumping them back onto the ocean floor. Said CEO, Noel Dempsey, “Riding The ‘Wipeout’ is like riding a tidal wave strapped into your favourite beach chair or like getting tossed around in a massive tumble dryer. Get ready to hang ten like never before!”

Those are Thrill Rides.

but then, ada jgk rides yang agak rilex2, xdebar2 sgt ar.yang teaser2 for family and kids. These are some of the rides yang kitorng naik just utk cool down kejap. (tak mencabar sgt)

The slingshot machine does not utilize rubber ropes or bungee cords but is powered by a patented spring propulsion device incorporating up to 720 specially designed springs.

The Slingshot can be custom designed to cause minimal disruption to existing venues. This includes tower designs that consume a few square metres of land and use elevated gondola loading platforms where space is at a premium.

For the ultimate thrill ride Funtime have Slingshot designs able to propel the passenger capsule more than 150 metres high. Other designs are available that have a passenger capacity of around 240 passengers per hour.
